Domain Name Inspiration

So, why *intertwined-souls*? I've always been hooked on angsty, soulful love stories. Two souls destined to be connected, intertwined forever despite everything that comes in their way. Whether in books, movies, or television, these kinds of stories have always captured my attention. Yeah, sappy I know, but I'm a sucker for tortured romance and the connection of soulmates ~s~.

I've been totally captivated by ABC's Lost, and by Josh Holloway's Sawyer in particular. A complex, tortured man who can bring the snark and is lovely to look at. What's not to love?

Las Vegas on NBC is probably my favorite new show of the season. It's a good, old fashioned, fun nighttime soap. I was looking forward to it specifically for two of my favorites, Josh Duhamel and Vanessa Marcil, who are featured in this layout. Danny and Sam are sure to create many sparks!

This layout was inspired by the news that Anthony Herrera will be making another appearance as the evil James Stenbeck on As The World Turns. It features Herrera's James and his son Paul, portrayed by Roger Howarth. This is one messy, dysfunctional relationship. And the question remains, will James sway his son to the dark side?

I'm slowly but surely replacing my videos with DVD's and I got "The Breakfast Club" in the mail recently, and finally got inspired for a new layout! Of course, my favorite was Judd Nelson ~s~. The whole movie is a classic!

This layout features another one of my favorite tortured love stories, Lord Aragorn and Arwen from The Lord of the Rings. I was hooked during The Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers only served to up my love for their story. Viggo Mortenson and Liv Tyler have great chemistry! I'm waiting with baited breath for The Return of the King!

I haven't been so excited for a CD release in a long time, but suffice it to say I'm totally pumped for the new Matchbox Twenty CD, More Than You Think You Are, being released November 19. It's been way too long since we've had new music from them. So, in honor of that and the fact that they are one of my favorite bands, I decided to use them for the new layout. Mad Seaason is a great album and it's also my favorite song on the album, and this is one of my favorite shots of them. Thanks to atpictures.com for the great picture!

It's fall! That means my other love comes into play: hockey! This layout features my favorite hockey player of all time, affectionaly known as "The Captain", Mark Messier. He led my beloved Broadway Blueshirts to their first Stanley Cup in 54 years! The main graphic is one of my favorite pictures of him, holding that Stanley Cup with that rare huge smile.

Being totally addicted to soap operas, I've found some of the most wonderful love stories filled with angst and a soulful connection. This layout is dedicated to those soap opera soulmates. It features Todd and Téa from OLTL, Jake and Megan from OLTL, Sonny and Brenda from GH, and Jason and Carly from GH. All four of these couples and their stories were classic tragic love stories but also filled with hope and angst, and the bond of soulmates. Yeah, sappy I know, what can I say? ~s~

This domain name was inspired by my addiction to angsty, soulful love stories, so I figure it's only fitting that the first layout feature my favorite all time *tortured soulmates*, One Life to Live's Todd Manning and Téa Delgado! Their love story takes the terms 'tortured romance' and 'angst' to new levels ~s~! The top picture is a snapshot from their current run onscreen (which by the way, was shot on location on a beautiful island in Hawaii), and the two pictures beneath are their individual shots from the show's opening credits, circa 2002. Can ya tell I'm thrilled to have them back onscreen? ~s~
